Real World Fuel Consumption?

Honda says 400 km from a full tank. Haven't heard anything from the reviewers yet. Maybe something from the few of you who have ridden the thing?

@driesonbikes what was average consumption during your ride?

I'm wondering what people will do to up the fuel capacity. Honda won't be releasing a larger tank from what we've seen so far. So aftermarket or homebrew something...

400km between tanks isn't much, especially for those Australian guys who hit the outback, 600 km between fuel stops not uncommon...

I heard that Safari Tanks are already onto it - circa 30ltr

Word is that they will have something in production by the end of next year

2 tank fuel and I have an average of 5 liters / 100 kms. Off-road, highway, ... Less than 5 l/100 is possible. Today in the dashboard I have 4.8 l/100 as an average

Found this pic from press launch, 6.7L/100km but they were probably twisting the piss out of it...

My Africa Twin is averaging around 20km/L. You can track its progress on Fuelly.
