"Set" button fail

The "set" button on the left cluster doesn't return on my AT now. Went back to dealer who said mine was far from the first

, apparently they don't like getting wet !
Another example of Honda using poor components. My spokes are starting to show corrosion, and haven't seen a salty road yet.
Lucky to have a very good dealer who is on the case.

Both issues are well known and documented on here and other forums. Just have a search.

I have both issues as well, that's why we have warranties isn't it?

Don't worry, they will both be sorted but it might take a while ha ha

I've had my switch gear replaced (triumph are having the same problems) Honda told me at the nec show that are to possibly replace the spokes with stainless ones and a new relay solves the grip issue

The spokes are being replaced for 2017 with double dipped ones not stainless steel. They are the same as the ones fitted to 2017 model.
The spokes will be sent to dealers who will outsource the re-building of the wheels to 3rd party specialists.
I'm on my second set of wheels, first set replaced by complete wheels under warranty. This set have 'gone' in 400 miles.
I'm now waiting for the new double dipped spokes to be sent to dealer for wheels to be rebuilt.
My original wheels will be rebuilt at central wheels UK so my bike is not off the road for any length of time.

Well I am now a stuck "set" button club member. Went out for a spin yesterday and it is mashed in and wont come back out. I guess a trip to the dealer is in order.

Had mine changed 2 times now. There is a workaround... use a hair-dryer, but it will fail again... I have a small plastic bag with me all the time that I use when I park the bike and it's raining... Looks funny as ****, but atleast my set button works when I need it
