Wiring fog warning light

I thought I'd seen this topic somewhere, but I can't find it.

I've made a loom to wire a set of fog lights (<1 amp) into the front accessory connector (using the Honda fog lamp switch). I'd like to use the warning lamp on the dash so I've wired that in, but I'm not sure if I've done it correctly. Does it just connect to the switched live?

Like this (wiring diagram - the dashed line is the warning lamp wire):

Here's the loom I've made:

Thanks.

High school electrical shop class was 40 years ago so bear with me a little please. The dashed line is a wire from the switched side positive to the pin for the dash fog light (both dash and fog lights are lit when switch is on), correct? Is this legal? My truck fog lights go off when I put my high beams on. There is a pin in the 4 way plug for high beams, some dimmable aux light kits would seem to use this pin but I haven't seen a schematic that shows the wiring logic. Anybody out there know the wiring sheme to use the high beam pin in the harness for shutting off fog lights when high beams are on (or if using as aux/fog light combo - full power on high beams for aux lighting and lower power on low beam as fog light). I guess if it is legal to leave them on all the time its a moot point.
