Problems with this site?

Hi all, Is it just my PC, Internet connection or my windows10, but is anybody else having trouble on this web site?
Everything seems slow to load, and above that when the page is loading it jumps around, doesn't load the whole page, sometimes I click on the login box then it sticks and it wont let me type in anything to log-in, etc etc, I love the site and all the FORUMS but it's becoming a pain in the u know what, I don't have this problem with any other site,,,,, anybody else having the same trouble? any suggestions ? Thanks.

Yes, I had problems as did others. I had a chat with Admin and they helped out. It is ok for me now. I think it had something to do with Add-ons. There is another thread on here about it from memory. Have a search or a chat with Admin.

Yes, it is the targetted ads that impact performance, it is extremely annoying. It is based on cookies, your past search histories etc. My ads will look different to yours (e.g your $ United Airlines Ad Vs my Custom Teddy Bear Ad) as will everybodies. Thats how forums such as these make threir money. So, as every page for every user has a custom ad(s) that ad has to get fed dynamically from another source, it is not natively on the forum providers website. To the shagrin of the forum provider, use Firefox browser and switch on the adblock plus add-on, hey presto, no ads, clean screen, good performance.

I have cleared my cache, thanks Nemesis, it has helped a little, so I think we're on the right track, now to contact Admin thanks Griff, and try that FOX fella you suggested eltel62, and Ad's? Gee! I get plenty of them, but never had a Teddy Bear one, yet? at least not that I can remember, Thanks again all.

Hey all

If you come across some site slowness, check the bottom left corner of your screen for any dialogue it may be stalling on, like "Waiting for..." following by a URL. If you can grab that URL for us we can figure out which server will need a boot to correct that.

Thanks everyone
