My range is only limited by the terrain and when "monkey butt" sets in.

If I am traveling on my twin I will go 600 plus daily... My longest day in the saddle was on my way from Lake George NY to Wyoming.... day 2 850 miles. On an average day run with my buddies though and not chugging down a freeway 200-300

Most of my ride are 6 hours with a 5min break every hour. Usually cover 350-400km. All back roads (avoid main roads as much as I can)

My longest ride on the AT was about 13 hours (440miles -- 180miles were Offroad to the north rim of the Grand Canyon) !!! However, I would need a more firm and higher seat for my weight and height.

From my logs the 1254km from Renfrew, Ontario to Nipigon, Ontario was the longest on the trans-canada highway. I however do not recommend that kind of self abuse unless you are of unsound mind.

On the stock seat, 6 hours is about the point where I would rather be off the bike than on it. By 7.5-8 hours, I'm really starting to suffer.
I have an airhawk waiting to be tested out this weekend on a 10-hour ride with a pillion split over 2 days.
I am hoping with the airhawk I can manage a comfortable 8 or 9 hours. I have a 22-day return trip this summer up to Tuktoyaktuk with 19 days in the saddle, 12 of which are going to be 8-10 hours each.

Let us know how you go with the Airhawk. It didn't work for me. And yes, I know it works best with very little inflation. I'm putting it on ebay.

Maybe I should drink a load more Guinness and eat more pies to help put some extra padding on my bony arse!

Garage
I'll be riding 215 miles today to go get a burrito at Bobby's Place in Pasadena (formerly Rick's Burrito as mentioned by Steve Dahl, a radio guy I used to listen to when I lived in Wisconsin/Illinois).

I seek to cure what's deep inside, frightened of this thing that I've become
