I pick up today my 2020 ATAS DCT ES in tricolor. I just made ride of 50km in the rain and wind and I must say you don,t feel that you are on a bike of 250kg. The only accessory I put on for this moment is the center standard and noting else. The alu side and top case look very nice also the frame what they have made looks and is robust. The seat is better then with the old one your legs are more together which gives you a better feeling that are one with your bike. The display is funny and not so difficult as they say on some reviews. The sound is nice totally different then the 1000. Tires are Metzler Karoo Street (so germans also happy). The battery is lithium so you to check your charger before you will use it.

SWEET!!! Congrats on the new ride, glad to hear youre liking the improvements. I noticed no (as Honda calls it) lightbar. Also I do really like the new dash a lot, I am curious as to where the OEM switch would be for the stock auxiliary lights?

I think it will be as additional function in the FN switch mode. In the 370 pages owners manual is nothing written about it. Or it will be on the left side opposite of usb connection. What I also read is the some diagnoses and maintenance information will be upload at starting to Honda.
Today I drove another 100km playing with the buttons and left the tarmac and took some unpaved roads. It is funny how the gravel mode is working before My speed was not so high but now it was high.
The only thing I have to do is finding a solution to mount my iphone on a save place so that I can use carplay.

That is awesome. I'm so jealous.

Here in Canada we don't get them until January when there will be cold (ice) and probably snow. I'm not adverse to riding in such things but not on a brand new bike I'm not familiar with.

I am curious how the heated grips work and will be getting the aux lights, hard panniers, top case, and centre stand. I'm thinking of getting an old iPhone 5/6 so I can use CarPlay. I'll just wifi tether it to my real phone for internet access.

Phone mounting: On my current bike (and the new one in the future) I use a RAM X-mount attached to a RAM ball added to a handlebar bolt. My phone sits right in the middle of the bars out of the way but is still there when I want it.

If no iPhoney I will need something to mount my Zumo GPS above the dash... but that can wait until I get my bike to figure out. If I figure out the iPhone thing then my wife can have the Zumo on her cruiser.

According to the Honda accessory documentation, the Fog light "switch" is added to the "Fn" key by modifying the Settings page. To do that you need a special connector that Honda calls SCS short connector.

This means that 3rd party can't be "integrated" on the bike like it's possible now with the "prev gen" model.

Regarding the iPhone position, to me it seems really a shame they provided the AppleCar experience without making available a place where to put the phone... I feel the need for an accessory bar above the TFT.
