Skid plates

Hi all! Proud new owner of a NOS '17 manual. I've mounted the Altrider upper/lower guards and am looking for skid plate options... I know the Altrider one works. I also see that the BDCW doesn't. Are there other options that work with the Altrider bars?

Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome..
Just kinda a difficult one for just anyone to answer, I would recommend finding one of more that you do like and ask the manufacturer or just wait a bit more and I’m sure someone will eventually drop in with a other than Altrider skid plate they are running with Altrider bars.

Yeap. I have SW-Motech bashplate but I don't have AltRider bars. Stick around!

The more you've found, the less you've been around.

That's what I'm finding. I sent some pics to ACD and it looks like theirs might work. Also talked with Ricochet and that may be another option...

When you get it sorted out, post up some pics to add to the information on this forum. It'll help others!

The used 2017 ATDCT I just picked up is sporting Altrider crash bars and a Touratech bash plate. The PO said he trimmed the bash plate in one spot to make it fit. Just pulled it this AM for the fist time and didn't notice any big mod. Bash plate frame makes the oil filter change look like a bit of a challenge. I'm sure it will be fine.......
