I would register the complaint (my second set have gone bad too), but don't do anything about it until April. A Honda rep on the stand at Motorcycle Live last week told me that they will most likely replace the wheels with stainless spoked ones when they become available on the new bikes (April for the UK)

Going to go too late June 2018 to make a claim for mine, 2 weeks before the two year warranty is up. Got to have a chance at some decent spokes at that stage (I hope)!

If they want to keep customer loyalty they will extend the wheel replacement indefinitely outside the warranty period.

Thumbs up to Ecosse Honda, Aberdeen.
Clive I had my wheels restrung by Ecosse in fury boot city after much haggling with Honda at Bracknell. I decided to buy ss and use warranty time to carry out the work, haven't looked back since, they did a good job. I find my rims OK, so kept originals.

Whoever buys my AT come moving on time will have a superbly clean and shiney set of oe wheels fitted on it. Then someone else will be able to buy the tubeless Alpina rims at a good price......

Mine too, and mine are the second set of supposedly double plated. And I spent 2 hours coating every single spoke with XCP - still looks a nightmare after just two or 3 rides in the salt and rinsing them in fresh water after the ride.

Next years bike 2018 has SS spokes I think anything pre that model will have the issue that is shown above. I have had mine replaced but the same problem has come back.
