New Garmin Zumo 595 LM

Just bought the 595 LM new at the GPSStore.com for $499. Tax and shipping included. That's the best price I found anywhere, all others were $699. Having it installed this week.

Just checked their website again and the price went up to $599, still better then $700

I'll take some pic' of the install. I still have to take pic's of the Eastern Beaver fuseblock that we installed. Works like a charm.

I heard those are choice. I got cheap and made my own fuse block. Not nearly as elegant, but it works well enough. I'm looking forward to your results. Good luck.

I move my 595LM between my Wing and the ATAS, and have found it to work well for the 2 years I have had it. The only complaint I have about it is that if one lays out a route in Google and then uses Garmin Basecamp to load it on the 595, if you do not start your route precisely on the starting point of the trip or if you deviate during the trip and miss a checkpoint, the GPS is constantly trying to turn you around to the proper starting point or the way-point that was used. Would love to know if there is a setting to "automatically" recalculate.

You can always hit down right "Skip nearest waypoint" and it recalculates...

Ok, any suggestions what to do with all of the extra cables? I'm referring to the USB port, 2.5 microphone port, both 3.5 stereo in and out ports. What have you guys done with those and where did you place them?
