Hello all
I have had my Africa Twin Adventure sport DCT for about 3 months and joined the forum a little while ago but never got around log log in and mooch around. I live in Ashford Kent and have a few mates with garden variety bikes (nothing as cool as mine....) :-)

I am currently looking for info on heated grips on my ATAS DCT as the left side feels cooler than the right side (that feels like its about to combust)

Left side is normally cooler as direct contact to the metal bars, the right side is on insulated plastic so less to drain the heat


Why are you using them now.........its not yet cool let alone cold


Pick mine up next month, hope the grips will be ok

I've had my Adventure Sports for 5 days....HRC colors.....That Black/Silver sure looks sharp, better in person even. Happy Trails from across the Pond :)

Well, I guess that explains it. I have the same issue (left grip noticeably cooler then right). Took it back to the dealer who just confirmed that all is well without any explanation as why the right hand grip gets almost too hot while the left leaves a lot to be desired. I make it work by just adjusting the heat level once in a while but still a bit disappointed.
