Well the great thing about the DCT is you can quickly override with the trigger shifters. I find that to be far faster than even using S3.
I do a lot of running at 90+ mph on the freeways here and I really only have a choice of 5 or 6th at that speed anyway. I am already at a RPM in 6th that it is pulling pretty well. Obviously if I am in 6th at 60 mph I need to drop at least 2-3 gears to get any serious pull.
