Thumbs up Africa Twin DCT - Modified Pics

I bought an Africa Twin DCT back in September 2017 to run alongside my BMW R1200GS Adventure. Two similar bikes, but very different.

Africa Twin DCT I've set up for off-road use, whereas the GS Adventure is setup with Ohlins, alloy wheels etc for On-Road touring.

Anyways, I thought you might like to see some pics of it.

Modifications include:-

But the main thing is, it's totally fun to ride

So the main big modifications are the rear brake conversion.

The Parking Brake (and all the cabling, caliper, hangers) have been removed completely, and in it's place I now have an X-ADV handlebar brake lever with a HEL braided hose routed through to the rear brake master cylinder into a billet machined alloy banjo mount.

I replaced the DCT rear caliper hanger with the manual version to tidy it up.

So, it means that now you don't have a parking brake?

Yes, I don't have the standard parking brake.... but I use a cable tie instead. That works.
