Big box of goodies arrived today, so far have fitted a set of bark busters with storm handguards, Ive been using barkbusters on all my dirt bikes since the early 80's, they should come as standard, the plastic hand guards are a joke. went on easily in about 30 minutes, if you get a set make sure you get the correct ones for your model africa twin, the generic kits aren't suitable unless you are changing the bars at the same time
Fitted Altrider bash plate, not impressed with the side coverage, doesnt protect the clutch cover & stator cover at all, otherwise it looks pretty solid & should take a good hit, was easy 15 minute fit, I should not of been a tight arse & bought a B&B Dakar bash plate instead , also in the box is a Camel High guard kit, just waiting on the KTM super motard front guard & spacers to arrive so I can fit it, Ralle Moto steering damper, waiting on fitting kit to fit it, Enduristan Sandstorm 3S Tank Bag, Oil & oil filter, hopefully the parts Im waiting on will be here on Monday

After 38000kms I have sold my AT. It did the job i wanted it for and now I'm downsizing. IMG_1982 by Drew Jackson, on Flickr
I hope to put lots of Kms on this as well. Thanks to all the inmates on here who liked or viewed my ride reports. Keep safe and see you on the road.

I got a fuzzy seat

Got myself a nice little seat mod the other day. Gives it a bit of character and feels nice.

Feels probably awesome after bike has been in parking lot in rain...

Canít ride my bike right now since it has no front forks on it. I still can look at it or add some simple things. My Roadcrafter suit has been scratching up my tank sides and the Givi tank bag I bought which was not suppose to touch the tank but does was doing the business on my tank as well.

So I ordered up some Techspec pads and added them late Friday once it warmed up enough to mess with it.

I think they look best on the solid color tanks.

I have one of those stupid big tank loc Givi tank bags and the back of it rest on the tank. From day one I have had that portion of the tank covered with 3m clear film. It has worked very well in protecting the tanks paint. I figured it wouldn't hurt to add the Techspec pad there as well. It is much thicker than the film and should keep the tail end of the tank bag off the paint even more. The 3m clear is still on the sides of the top Techspec pad.

Finally I have all of the Ohlins Suspension on my bike after 3 months of waiting and making a few changes.

It rides SO much better. New tires went on at same time so that accounted for a significant change as well.
