I went back to the stock screen with the Batzen screen adjuster. No more buffeting at all with the screen adjusted to about 1 inch below the highest position. I'm 6ft tall.

The Kenda 270s on my Kaw KLR will last 6~7000 miles with hard use and they can be had both for $100. They do perform well offroad and okay on the road except on wet pavement where they are slippery....
