Teknik suspension upgrade

Anyone who has done this, how much difference did it make? Stage 1 is what I'm looking at.

The Africa Twin is plush on the road but is no 1090 R offroad.

I bought an AT with 35K km on it. The guy says it was serviced more than necessary (which I believe) but he doesn't know if the valve clearances were checked at the 24K km service.
