That looks ace bud!

Can we have some pictures of your led spotlight install please, I’ve got a project to do similar on my 2019 ATAS.

Nigel, I can give you a pic or two but there's not much to show. I have mounted 2 inch LED lights low on the crash bars that come on with the ignition. These are intended to help other vehicles see me, not for throwing light out for me to use.

These are Make: VisionX Model: Soltice and are wired to my PC8 fuse block under the rear seat.

Here I'm just showing the cable routing to get it up under the tank.

These lights are white light and clear lens. However, I have placed turn signal repair tape over the lens to change the color more towards amber. The white half moon is an attempt to cut the beam. These are not road legal out of the box, so I am attempting to correct that and keep from blinding on-coming traffic with the attachment of a physical plastic light blocker.

In my profile I had listed that I was adding Cyclops driving lights, however, I have since decided to forego those as I think 1) the OEM high beam is sufficient and 2) I could not easily mount them where they would be high enough to be of use and inboard enough not to crack up during a tip over. I don't have upper crash bars which would help in this conversation. I may revisit this at a later point but for now, I'm only running the lower lights.

Nigel, I've now added some Denali D2s. I added an aluminum crossbar to my Altrider headlight guard bracket for mounting. (See the collage above).

The lights are a compromise for size. More lumens would be larger form factor and more weight than I want on my beak. The D2s are about 1 pound (combined) and throw light approximately 500 feet.

I have them wired to my PC8 fuse panel and have a manual switch on the handle bar.

The wiring is routed above the radiator then down the right side under the tank.

I expect Denali to have a Canbus adapter in the near future. At that point I will tie these to my high beam switch.
