I'm thinking of putting a PDM60 onto the bike for all my electrical stuff to plug into.

The 12v socket from Honda seems a bit of a rip-off - does anyone know if it is a special connector to a switched power source or is it just a "bolt it straight to the battery" job? And where will the dealer put the outlet end if I order one?

I'm wondering whether I should just get an after-market one instead and power it through the PDM60...

I've used this kit on the former GL1800 and the current Concours 14. Make a short adapter harness with additional capacity. Then, attach matching terminal for the accessory you want to power.




On the bike side, be sure to protect 12v+ wires with the female socket terminals.
