Honda quietly announced today that our adventure would continue on Friday October 16th 2015, but just what did they mean by that?

Well if you look at the video you'll quickly notice that the two Africa Twins are different, not different in paint like Marquez and Bang Bang, but different as in wearing a taller screen and featuring metal panniers.

Could Honda be subtly hinting that on Friday they will show the world a dedicated Touring CRF1000L?

Maybe.

The other option could be Honda releasing the full suite of accessories. We hear Honda reached out to the aftermarket and is looking to offer after market parts through the Honda Genuine Accessory catalogue.

I like what i'm hearing about what they did for aftermarket which means we can expect those parts to be available much sooner that if Honda and aftermarket didn't have that connection going on. Rather than waiting months we'll be waiting weeks at most.
