G'day Nice People's,

Here is a link to my 2020 Honda CRF1100 Africa Twin Adventure Sport ES DCT Left Hand Rear Brake Modification.

That is Nice. I do find myself wanting to put my right foot down / out on right hand turns when I slow down aggressively and see gravel on the turn, but I can't because I need that foot on the rear brake. And then the control / feel as you described of the back wheel through the rut. Sounds like a great mod to me.

Thanks Mate, I'm glad you like it.
A 500lb Mountain Bike with a DCT transmission.....NICE!!!! Wanna Trade?
What about this scenario - you drive into a corner with your foot on the rear brake and then start using the rear handbrake - both being applied at the same time. Does that add to the braking or does the hand brake feel numb, and vise versa.

IF you place your fingers on the left lever and cheeseburger little then apply the foot Brake, you feel the pressure through the lever and fork brake etc.. you can use both at the crane time but, the ABS Servo unit will only release the amount if pressure onto the brake that the diameter of the line allows.

My bad! Undiscovered it before sending it. I should have proof read it first.

It should have been 'then "Squeeze a little"

Blame the Yanks! There the people that write these computer/phone apps with hideous auto correction😂😂😂

It's Brilliant, It's clever. Perfect for the DCT. I can't think of any reason not to do it. Thanks 🇦🇺

Great job, Peter. I made the same modification on my Africa Twin 2016 but i completely removed the parking brake system and brought the parking brake (hydraulic lock) from Bullet Brake LLC. Everyone can install this simple item on both brake levers to lock front and rear wheels. Only one thing thing is need to change, after removing parking brake system is the rear brake carrier, i took shorter one from standard manual Africa Twin. And without OEM parking brake caliper it is easy to remove and install the rear wheel.
