Any recommendations for panniers for 2022 Africa twin base with manual transmission. Looking for hard pannier.
Thanks in advance
I also run the Touratech Sega EVO Panniers:
Tire Wheel Vehicle Motorcycle Automotive tire

I had them on my previous KTM, and when I got the Africa Twin, I just bought the frame to use the boxes again. I have had min for about three years now. They are in daily use, as I commute on my bike every day, year-round.
I have not had any trouble with mine, except the nuts that hold the core locks in place would vibrate loose - I put some thread locker and that sorted them out. Problem-free.

Last year, when I bought the Honda plastic panniers it was around 500 bucks for the set. They have more than doubled in price. I really like them though.
Good for you! Geez, I did not realize that inflation had struck the polypropylene industry that asymmetrically. I wonder how a Honda spokesperson would justify such an increase.

Anyway again, good for you for beating the huge price increase. You could likely turn those for a profit. Got any hot stock tips by chance? :D

That wasn't a deal from the dealer you bought the bike from? I think they were $750 retail in '21 when I bought my AT.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Bumot aluminum panniers. I looked at all the options you all have mentioned (and then some) when outfitting my 22 ATAS ES DCT last year and chose those. Abt $1850 with rack and fabric liners. Pricey, but very durable and definitely waterproof in my experience. Easy on and off and they make great stools and tables at the campsite. 16,000 miles in all kinds of weather. I would do it again without hesitation.

I’m getting old and am considering selling my Africa Twin for something more fitting for a 78 year old fart, although I LOVE the performance of that gutsy engine/transmission. $15,000. Florida

Perceptive observation A ‘21 Tour just replaced my old ‘18 Tour. My first observation after 9 months without a Wing…That Africa Twin is REALLY peppy and flickable while riding. First 5 minutes back on a Wing…This is a dog, but sooo smooth. Honda makes the very best bikes in all categories. JMHO. The only reason I’m slowing down on the AT is so I don’t pile on the miles. It really is a blast to ride.
