Hope you didn't take the wheels too close to the sea water!

Seriously though - I love Australia. The size of the sky and the red colour of the Outback - gorgeous. The only problem is the distances involved - Perth was one of my favourite cities when I visited - but you feel like you are miles away from anywhere else - a weird feeling for someone who lives in England. Makes for a good "big trip" though. My sister emigrated out there 2 years ago and my other half's dad lives there too - I feel a trip coming on...

Yep...I think Perth is the most isolated major city in the world (but I could be wrong)! Having driven Sydney - Perth a few times it's a bloody long way....but there's plenty out there to see.:grin2:

Thinking about a trip to Finke this yr...just for a pic at the finish line. The 3000k return before work on the friday scares me a bit. Will do my best to post a pic if I make it back and survive the few days after....

Look at motor-forum.nl topic "het grote dolomieten/noord italie" there you can find a lot off information. You don 't have to read it all. Start later in the topic.
