I bought an Africa Twin DCT back in September 2017 to run alongside my BMW R1200GS Adventure. Two similar bikes, but very different.

Africa Twin DCT I've set up for off-road use, whereas the GS Adventure is setup with Ohlins, alloy wheels etc for On-Road touring.

Anyways, I thought you might like to see some pics of it.

Modifications include:-

- Altrider Skid Plate (extended)
- Altrider Headlight Guard
- Altrider Crash Bars (extended)
- Altrider High Brake Lever
- Altrider High Fender Kit (including fork guards, braided hoses)
- Altrider large sidestand base
- Zeta Trigger rear brake pedal
- HEL braided brake hoses
- Large footpegs
- Barkbuster Storm Handguards
- Double Take Mirrors
- Oxford Heated Grips
- R&G Side Tank Protectors
- ROX Speed FX Bar Risers
- Motografix Tank Protector
- Scotts Steering Damper
- Rugged Roads Radiator Guard
- Rugged Roads Cockpit AirShield
- Rugged Roads Rear Pillion Plate
- Rugged Roads Rear Brake Conversion Kit (X-ADV Brake Lever and reservoir, HEL Braided Hoses, Master Cylinder Adaptor)
- Kriega Fork Seal Protectors
- Kriega OS-18 and OS-6 soft luggage
- Camel ADV footpeg brace (extended)
- Custom screen brace, Zumo 660 Sat Nav mounted and hard wired
- Powerbronze 350mm short tinted windscreen
- Metzeller Karoo3 off-road tyres
- Garmin Virb XE cameras with hardwire fittings
- Garmin Inreach Explorer Plus SAR SOS sat-coms

Removed from the bike....

- Honda Windshield
- Honda Handguards
- Honda Grips
- Honda Front Fender
- Honda Parking Brake Lever, cables, rear parking caliper, DCT rear hangar
- Honda Rear Brake Reservoir
- Honda Rear Brake Foot Pedal
- Honda Rear pillion footpegs and hangers
- Honda Footpegs
- Honda Skid Plate
- Honda Rear Pillion Seat
- Honda Mirrors

But the main thing is, it's totally fun to ride

So the main big modifications are the rear brake conversion.

The Parking Brake (and all the cabling, caliper, hangers) have been removed completely, and in it's place I now have an X-ADV handlebar brake lever with a HEL braided hose routed through to the rear brake master cylinder into a billet machined alloy banjo mount.

I replaced the DCT rear caliper hanger with the manual version to tidy it up.

So, it means that now you don't have a parking brake?
