Well,
It's just kind-a personal preference I guess. I've always liked my vehicles/motorcycles/motorhomes/boats etc. clean. I use them, get them seriously dirty, and all that. I don't do mud, I HATE MUD! I don't have any issues at all washing and wiping my A/T down on a periodic basis. It gives me a chance to look at/inspect things up close. Stuff can begin to vibrate and loosen (although the A/T engine is phenomenally smooth), check items for wear, check for this and that and just make sure nothing's gonna fall off either on or off road, if I have anything to do with it. It just doesn't take that much time. But, to each his own, as they say.

Took off for the weekend after quarantine ended in Manila, was lucky enough to be able to do an over night stay, went up into the mountains in the province of Rizal along the Marcos Hwy, Philippines.

Did all the crossings without drops or anything more than wet boots (no soggy feet)
