Finally picked up my bike this morning. Over the moon about it. Crappy weather isnt even noticeable. Havent felt like this about a bike in a long time. Happy days.

Great to hear Stephen. I would be very interested to know what you think about the bike compared to your previous one. Also your first impressions of windscreen (high or standard) and level of noise/buffeting. I have found that at higher speeds there is buffeting at the base of my helmet with the high screen, although I can dip my head to resolve the issue (i'm 5'11'').

Hi Chris,
Thanks. Previous bikes dont really compare (vtr1000, husaberg 650 supermoto, CR250, XL250, GSXR 600 SRAD) as not quite the same job. Having said that, i cant see myself riding anything else now ..... except the supermoto .... thats just bonkers fun
As for the screen. Mine is the standard but i test ride the tall version.
For the tall screen, i found it bugged me a little as was marginally in my vision (5'10"). At all speeds wind noise was fine and turbulence very minimal ( didny have much to compare it to though) and all day comfortable.
Only a short blast on mine this morning (work work and more work) but if i have to comment there was maybe a slight increase in buffeting but today is much windier than when i tested the tall screen.
Happy to Let you know more once i get to put some miles on it.

Congratulations!

I'm hoping to get mine next Friday - same colour and transmission.

My first bike after 10 years - so excited! And a bit nervous.

Its all good. Only test rode the manual so was a bit aprehensive but i can honestly say .... wow .... thouroughly impressed. Now for the off road bit !!!
