I'll be removing my fairings tomorrow to route the wires for my Garmin... Hoping somebody has removed them before & can give me some tips so I hopefully dont crack a fairing... Looked everywhere and can only find details for the standard model... none for the ATAS.... Thanks in advance!

They remove the same. Take a look at the service manual (someone had posted a link to one somewhere on the forum. Really not difficult once you remove the screws. Pull the dogs out of the grommet in the rear and they pull forward. There was actually a pretty good description of it on the instructions for the MCCRUISE.com I installed, and they will send you a set of instructions for their unit if you email them and ask. https://www.mccruise.com/collection...ottle-by-wire-mccruise?variant=13591549968482 What are you using for power distribution, Eastern Beaver?

Like VFMoore said; remove all the bolts and locking pins folowing the normal AT instructions; there are videos in youtube for this as well.

You shall find out that removing is very easy eventually. Reinstalling is a more laborious task, as the fairings have a numers of clipping points and some of them need some caution not to miss them; ie. the fitment arround the phaux air intakes lateral to the headlight. Make sure you triple check fitment before you put back screws.

They are surprisingly easy to remove - it's actually quite cleverly engineered. I had mine apart a week ago for the air filter maintenance and replacement. I found this video quite useful:
