Hello Welkom bienvenue willkommen,

Do the petrol / service stations on motorways stay open 24hrs in your country? I want to get to Spielberg for MotoGP but because of work I have to get there quickly and that means traveling long distances and possibly at night so I need to know if I can get petrol?

No, unless they are unmanned or next to the speedways/motorways/highways. A lot of them only run opening hours like 0700-2100.
Especially Germany has a distinct lack of 24/7 unmanned stations, and mostly those along motorways are 24/7.
Fueling up outside of the motorways is worth it and can easily save you 15-30cts a liter. Belgium has a lot more unmanned stations, some however only take credit card. Many of them already offer contactless payment at the pump itself.

Thank you, I will be traveling on the motorway/highway for most of it, to save time, the higher prices is just some thing I will need to accept if I want to cover the distances in the time I have (1.5 days to travel 1800km, plus a Eurotunnel crossing). Good to know that there are places to get petrol on the main routes. 👍🏻
