Oh man, I'm not the guy to ask as I've never put extra lighting on a bike before! But it's fashionable amongst the adventure biking community, and I believe it's meant to help you be seen and also help expand your range of vision when it gets dark in off-roady kinds of places.

The Denalis get good reviews, also the Baja Designs stuff. I may end up getting the Touratech ones though because - while probably vastly overpriced for what they deliver like most Touratech stuff - they seem to have a nice mounting kit for the AT and seem easy to fit.

Getting mine on 1st of March fingers crossed.......
Got sent through the accessories list that they do for the AT.
I really like the fog light kit.......BUT £795.00 for 2spotlights are they having a laugh......why do they make the bike affordable then ruin it with the price of the add on's

The Honda price of £795 includes the crash bar (or accessory rail as their legally timid marketing team have branded it). It's still a ridiculous price but not as obscene as it initially appears.

That's crazy.

I also looked at the TT lights, but it seems the lights a similar to the ready to purchase items, and it's only the brackets that's custom(?)

I'm waiting for RR to come up with a bracket mounting and see how they mount before deciding.
I reckon mounting within the body work like TT has is smart, as it'll be less damage when I drop my bike in the dirt AGAIN.

I tried the denali D2's and dont like them. On high they put out amazing light but they are too bright if you are in traffic. And on the lower setting they don't put out enough light to be useful. And with the 40 degree "fog light" lens they seem to scatter light everywhere including the tree tops.
Im going to try the SW Motech 4" LED fog lights since the fog light pattern is what I want. The stock headlight on the AT is very good on high beam and I dont need driving lights.

If anyone knows, please help. I have the OEM bars on order (arrived). I am coming home from duty next week and also have the Cyclops Optimus lights on their way. I really would like to know what the diameter of the OEM bars are so I can make sure I order the right bracket. I will only be home for a week before I am off for duty again and I am trying to time it all so all parts are in in time. I tried the dealer, not much help there.

Much appreciated.

The diameter of the OEM crash bar is 25 mm.
For your information I have included a photograph of the OEM bars which have four mounting points for their OEM lights (Only two are used) you can see where my lights are mounted and the same mounting points below. I removed one of the blanking plates which revealed it takes a M6 x by 15mm screw/bolt. The two bolt holes are 35 mm apart if you want to drill your own bracket. The attached thumbnail needs to be rotated 90 degrees right.
I hope this assists and good luck.
