Badge Installation Instructions

I just got in the L&R tank badges for my ‘16 (PN: 86212-MJP-G50 & 86211-MJP-G50) and was wondering if anyone has Honda’s installation instructions? They come with a sort of template I’m not sure if they’re supposed to line up with something or not but it’d bother the living **** out of me if I messed it up.

I had to replace the LH side on mine.
Medallion alone was like $ 39.
The whole plastic part, named like Plate Set cost like $ 27. Medallion already included and glued together.
Guess which I ordered?

The plate. I ordered the plate with the Medallion.
