I'm considering this kit which is linked below. In the attached photo from the linked page they show the included hardware which threads into tapped OE handlebars, but doesn't seem to have the included vibration/weight retainer at the end of threads as the original hardware ( photo also attached ). This has me wondering what holds the vibration/weight in place inside the handlebar. I emailed Barkbusters several days ago, have not yet gotten a response.
Not sure I agree. Over time I think these things are going to move. They can only move 3-4", but if one does and not the other.

Thank you for your enquiry and interest in Barkbusters product.
The internal handlebar weight is not required to be removed as with most other Honda’s.
The rubbers on that bar weight will hold it in place and stop it from vibrating.
These weights are very secure and are quite difficult to remove so it is a better option the leave them in place.
