My brother a fellow AT owner (2017 manual), recently on a sunday ride out, was extremely fortunate not to have serious accident.
He lost the bike on a corner going only 25 mph in a built up area.
After picking himself of the floor he noticed oil splattered over the rear tyre and back of the bike.
On further inspection he noticed the oil filler plug missing....
The last time this was removed was by a dealer.
After he told me this, i had a look at my filler plug and realised they are very flimsy plastic with a weak shallow thread.
It would not take much to over-tighten and strip the thread, causing it to blow with little oil pressure.

I since purchased an aluminium one from rugged roads, hopefully to stop this from happening.

Owners of all AT's please take note.
