Planning to do a brake fluid change soon on my 2018 ATAS.
Watched a few videos on You tube and one is saying that you MUST change the master cylinder diaphragm when you change brake fluid. Reason given is that the diaphragm distorts over time.

Can anyone who has done a brake fluid change please comment

There is no mention of replacing the diaphragm in the service manual that I have (regular AT) and I've never heard of ever having to do this unless it has been damaged or something.

Same here. Never had to replace a diaphragm. The owner should still inspect the component and replace if deemed a risk.
