Has anyone else had this problem broke my right side foot peg mount
I lost momentum after clipping a rock on a loose gravel road on a steep up hill and had to lay it down
Picked it up got back on and realized my foot peg was gone
No replacement parts in in Canada they are on back order !!
Tells me that I am not the only one to have had this issue and maybe this is a problem part due to being only an aluminum casting
Any one come across any aftermarket up grades
Honda part 50615-MJP-G50ZA
Need to find one fast going out to Nakusp for HUMM in 10 days time

I had the same problem about 1 month ago on the 1st day of a rally competition in the desert ( in Chile )
I welded it and did'nt have ant problems during the following 2 days of race
At present is I painted and I think is better than the OEM ( stronger on the weak point )
Just get a good aluminium welder
Good luck

I was talking to a gent who owns a rental company who rents Africa Twins - he has had this happen 3 times so far. Definitely a weak point on the right foot peg. According to him, Honda is looking at redesigning the right peg mount. In the same conversation, was Kurt Forget from Black Dog Cycle Works. Kurt told me he is watching what Honda do - if they don't do a redesign, he will probably design a replacement. It's not worth it to him to do the replacement if Honda does one since the market is pretty small, but if Honda drops the ball, he will definitely look into it. I would keep my eyes on the Black Dog Cycle Works web site for any news on this. I have other Black Dog stuff (crash bars, skid plate and foot pegs), and their stuff is first rate and very, very tough.

The same thing happened to me over the last w/e while I fell from the right crossing a slippery/rocky river bed with my 2017 manual CRF. I have ordered the bracket and will probably weld the old one as backup but I am also thinking of ordering the Camel brace support.

Seems the photos were taken in Agrafa. How was it? I am also considering going back to Greece for a week.

I think this was corrected in 2018...

Hello, yes, I left my bike in Greece after the summer and will bring it back to the UK in the spring via Morocco in Easter. Doing Agrafa at this time of the year was very demanding given a **** of a lot of mud in most passages. It was a challenging w/e with quite a few falls by most riders. You need proper tires, I had TCK80's which are not the best in mud (to put it mildly), it would have been much better with e.g. a Mitas E09 in the rear. If you need any info, just pm me.
