There's a report of a right trouser leg (that's pant leg to most of you guys) getting melted from contact possibly with the engine casing after the bike had been on a good blast.
Any other reports of this as a problem?
Good boots would probably prevent you feeling that trouser leg getting too hot.

Nope, this is the first I've heard... While its still not warm enough yet, I've had no issues with heat coming off the engine or any excessive heat around my legs... None of the other AT owners in my area that I talk to as made any mention of an issue...

Is it possible that it got burnt on the the headers where they start to angle up to join the exhaust. I got larger pegs and I find my right foot is always hitting the heat shield down there. But I have never had anything melt on me.
