Hey there! Long time lurker here, finally looking to contribute and get involved.
I don't have a machine yet, but I'm goig to be picking up a 2018 AS.
Really hung up on my decision between the base model, and the AS though.
I really, really odn't like the colors they used on the AS, I'm a Matte Black kinda guy.

Is it possible to get Non-AS plastics on an AS machine????
But some of the features are nice (Larger gas tank yes please!)

Anyways, here I am.

Welcome! I think if I went back and could buy another I'd go for the same bike. The standard AT goes far enough for most - usually about 370-380 kilometres (sometimes more). If I was only riding on the road I'd take the Adventure Sport version, otherwise, the lighter bike is a better all-rounder.

Adding your own aftermarket parts is cheaper than the Honda package (although the Honda accessories look really nice). I can't think of a single issue that I've had with the bike - it's been terrific. Had to replace fork seals but otherwise, it's been gas, oil and tires.

Good luck with your new bike. See you out riding around Calgary.
