Good morning, I have a Africa Twin 2017 with manual gears and I am having problems when I start the bike in cold weather. basically it is very accelerated and when it reaches the normal temperature of use, the bike is accelerated at approximately 2000 rmp. I have not found anyone even though I have had this problem. Please, if it occurs to anyone that it may be causing this, I hope for comments.
I'm traveling about 3500 km in a few days and I have no idea what it can be.
Thank you

I believe the bikes have an automatic high idle when the engine temps are cold in order to bring it up to temp more quickly. On cold mornings I believe I have seen around 1500-2000 rpms which I assume is normal. It should automatically lower to a normal idle once the motorcycle is warmed up. Are you saying that after the bike is warm it continues to have the high idle?
