Hey All,
Before my ride on Monday was interrupted by a nail in the rear tire, I noticed that when riding on the highway at around 70ish MPH I was getting a lot of vibration in my handlebars. I believe the issue is linked to the OM Crash Bars I installed (engine+mid+upper) recently & I want to try to reduce it as much as possible (as I love the protection this set provides).
I am going to start by re-tightening all the bolts to the proper spec, as I suspect the guesstimation process might've led to some overtightening. I also noticed some small gel pads that are placed within the clamps where the bars interface, does anyone have any clue what this material is? I'd like to buy some and apply a more generous amount (was currently thinking silicone gel tape might be a decent substitute if I cannot find an exact match).
Anyone have any other ideas?
