It looks to me like he is trying to practise the fast turn on loose surfaces by placing one boot on the ground and applying sufficient power to spin the rear wheel, allowing the bike to pivot turn around the point where your foot is contacting the ground.

From the end result it looks like it would be a good idea to upgrade the protection for the engine before attempting this. When I've dropped my bike I don't think that anything made by Honda has touched the ground. Usually contact with the ground would be made by Barkbuster hand guards, Outback Motortek bars and Bumot panniers/rack. I have the full Outback Motortek engine guards, upper bars & bash plate - these three things offer really good protection and there are definitely no scuffs on the part that the guy in the video put a hole in.
