Need ye guys to settle an argument I had with a BMW GS rider today.What country is the African Twin manufactured in,or is it manufactured in a few countries?

Kumamoto Factory
1500 Ozu-machi, Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto Pref. , Japan

For most of the world, complete bikes are shipped to destination countries.

For the Indian market, CKDs are exported to Indian and full assembled there.

It probably was, in part. You can't get away from it. I bought a clutch lever for my NT700 from Honda and it was marked "Made in China".

So is the African Twin made in Japan so even if it has Chinese parts.or assembled in China or India?

Dont forget any part on a Honda is made to (Honda Standards) with very high quality control, most car/motorcycle manufacturers out sources a majority components to suppliers.

Shssss dont tell Harley riders there bikes components are not made in America lol.
