What's the best way to get the tank stickers off without scratching / dulling the paint? I mean the HISS ones etc. Just by the filler cap.

Thanks.

Hairdryer, low heat, move left and right make sure it's not too hot. Should come off easily.
Thanks - I'll do that in one of the rare moments when the other half isn't using the hairdryer.

Hairdryer and then dental floss to remove it neatly.

Dental floss?!
Yeah I heard dental floss before as well. It's soft enough not to scratch anything. Plus it's got some soapiness to it. Never tried it tho.
So, do you just roll it into a ball and use it like a ball of wire wool?

I must admit this is the first time I've ever heard of using it for anything other than getting between your teeth!
No - apply some heat to the sticker to soften the adhesive, then use dental floss to get underneath it in a sawing motion to remove it cleanly :)

Ah - I see! Thanks.

Sorry, bit slow on the uptake there.
I took mine off the same day I got the bike, a hair dryer and a fingernail worked well.
