DCT chatter/knock over washboards

Hey guys,

I've been having a strange issue with my DCT for a while now.

When going over washboards at speed I've noticed the DCT chatters a LOT and the bike acts like it loses power. I can throttle through it, but it almost feels like traction control is intervening (even when its off). Only happens when I am on the throttle.

I run off-road in gravel mode sport 3 usually, noticed its better in manual mode but still happens.

Anyone else have this happen? Is it just normal? Is my chain too tight? (At stock spec)

Sounds like the traction control kicking in. I run mine on 1 on washboard

Figured it out. Wasn't Tc. (I turn that off completely) chain was WAY too tight

(Edit, long night, typo'd loose for tight 🙃)

Re-adjusted to spec as measured while leaning on side stand?
My center stand tends to make a bunch of noise on washboard, might be part of the problem too

Thats what I had done initially.

I had a notion that the chain has been too tight for a while now, and when I hit washboards the DCT slips/acts weird.

Had a similar problem on a street bike once and the chain was just too tight.

I actually don't have a centerstand. I'm not entirely convinced the extra weight justifying the utility. At least not for the short-ish rides i do.
