Almost since the first kilometre, my Silver DCT has been leaking oil on the right side of the engine. Not a big leak, but after every ride, most of the right side engine cover is covered with a film of oil, enough to leave small drips on the ground when I parked the bike, and to cover my right boot.
I took it to my Dealer at 200km.
At first we thought it might be a surplus of the preservative oil they apparently spray on the bike prior to shipment in Japan.
We cleaned the engine carefully with degreaser and checked tightness on all the obvious fasteners.
I then completed a (wonderful) 1500km trip.
The leak persists, and the engine oil level did drop by a small amount.
Its now back in the shop for its initial service. The Dealer ran the bike with die in the oil but still haven't found the source.
They have ordered replacement gaskets and O-rings for the right side case. Hopefully they will solve the problem this time around.
This is odd, as Honda build quality has always been excellent.
My bike is #37 off the line.
Anybody else find any similar issues?

No ! I haven't had any such oil leaks Freddie sorry,

but try an old trick, degrease go for a short run a blow over some talcum powder , you should be able to locate it then, worth a try,

Update:
The bike is back in the shop again.
First, they checked and torqued all the fasteners on the right-side case. Still leaked.
Then, they ordered all the gaskets and O-rings for the entire side case.
In the process of reassembling, the mechanic found that the o-ring grooves in the Linear Solenoid Valve body were machined too deep: the o-ring sits too deep in the groove and can't seat properly on its mating surface.
Note: this is the squarish case mounted just forward of the clutch.
Honda Canada is now involved. They are sending all the replacement parts for the right side. They are of course back-ordered.
Hopefully, this will resolve the leak once and for all.

I'm dealing with Brampton Powersports.
Specifically, their senior mechanic, Doug, appears to be very thorough. Paul, parts guy, is also better than average.
Just found the last missing part has arrived. I hope to get the bike back in a couple of days.
So far, I've lost more than three weeks of 'enjoyment'. We'll see what kind of compension I can get from Honda Canada.

I'd like to know too. I just did my 600 mile service & noticed my right side engine cover (just in front of the DCT box) has a oil on it. It looks like this has been going on for a while, I just didn't notice it. No drips that I've seen, but a good film covered in dust/dirt. Based on the OP's description mine is not as bad, but any oil leak is not good. I'll be taking it to the dealer this week. Hopefully I get the same good service. Not happy :/ Mine is a silver 2016 too.

DCT leak - again

My AT had what looked like a small leak coming from the front of my DCT box I noticed at my 600 mile service. I cleaned it all off & rode for a few more hundred miles - leak came back. I took it to the dealer who cleaned everything off & took it for a 5 mile test ride. They said they could find no leak, so they charged me $70 & sent me on my way - lucky me.

Now ~300 miles later it looks like the leak is back (see pics). I guess I'll take it back for round 3.

Am I being too anal about this? It's only (likely) a few drops of oil, but in my mind ALL the oil should stay on the inside, especially on a brand new $12,000 bike.

mine start leaking last month after 14k miles , lots of riding and off road , seems like the same motor oil is used for transmision .
does any one fix this issue thru warranty and or recall ??
i need advice since my nearest dealer in South florida Rick Case Power House is among the worst in the nation
