My dealer said there were a few around but they were starting to dry up. Honda is trying to take them back from dealers without confirmed orders to give to other dealers with orders so I guess any dealer that has one without a proper order is trying to sell it first via eBay... There are quite a few bikes on Autotrader too - probably the same ones!

My dealer has a Tricolour DCT which was a cancelled order and he was trying to resist it going back!

Eventually I suspect it will get a bit harder to find one - until August which is when I think they hope to be back to normal, whatever that is...

Official Honda stance is that there should be no (new) stock or in transit AT's not linked to a customer order.

Dealer showed me a communication from Japan enforcing this with a further check by Honda that the bike is actually registered in the name of the customer order.

That's correct. My dealer said that if an officially ordered bike wasn't registered within 14 days of receipt by the dealer then it had to go back into 'stock' and be made available to the public or other dealers.
