Hello!

I have a very good offer to buy a 2017. Africa after a minor accident - scratches on the plastic, but also, unfortunately, broken one of the headlights.
Where I live I have no offers for 2016-2017 headlights, but there are a few offers selling a headlight from 2019. model.

Would it fit, or its a completely re-designed part?

p.s. buying a new headlight for 1500 would make the offer not so attractive anymore, that is why i'm looking as used.

You should be able to find the part numbers with an exploded drawing of the bike on bikebandit.com
I don't think they changed the lights from 2016 to 2019, but find the part numbers should confirm it.

The frame and the tank (and tank) are different, the instrument cluster and it's mount are different. The 2020 version isn't on BikeBandit yet - but I would say the chances of the new front end fitting are extremely small.

Thank you all for the answers! The thing is - there is a part number difference, that is why I was asking this.
Hoping that somebody had actually tried fitting one.

The drawings look identical, I'd give Honda a call. Might be a small detail like bulbs or something that made them change the part number...
