A few shots from my ride in March.
55208

Hotel Sahara – the first of a few.

55209

Bridge near Rabat.

55210

Fresh-off-the-line fish & chips, Western Sahara.

55211

Old Santana Landrovers from the Spanish era.
Much loved by Saharawi nomads in WS and still going strong.

55212

Daily task for the diggers near Laayoune.

55213

Another day to the border.

55214

On a dark desert highway...
(no cool wind and no hair, thanks for asking ;-D)

55215

Loads of wind- sorry, KITE surfers in Dakhla Bay.
(Hint; it's v. windy down there).

55216

Adjustable Palmer screen – best thing I added to the bike.

55217

On and on it goes.
See next post.

My luggage set up.

55219

Getting close.

55220

Forgot my eating spoon, but not my tire spoon.

55221

Close to the border decided, with escalating CV19 situation, crossing might become a point of no return.
Good call. Border closed next day and still closed, afaik.

55222

Down to 37mpg on this very windy stretch.
Need to make it to that blue flag on the GPS.
Covered 252km with a pint and a half left in the tank ;-/

55223

Had to dump the bike and grab one of the last flights out.
By then Marrakech was already deserted and in lockdown.
Fyi: Covid death toll in Morocco as of today: 202.
They got on it quick, as did much of Africa.

Just walked away from the bike in Morocco? Are you gonna be able to get it back?

Nice job with the pics.
