I got to spend several hours in the saddle yesterday and tried the bikes off road abilities on a 4x4 track here in Queensland. We had severe storms the night before so it was a bit wet and slippery, but considering the stock tyres and me not having ridden much off road in years I must say I am VERY impressed with this bike. ABS is great on descents, and I found setting 1 of 3 on the traction control helped me keep it from sliding off the side of the mountain.
That engine is just awesome. I love the torque which can be found anywhere. And the noise it makes! Yes im very impressed

Must be nice, here in the USA we will not be able to say that we are picking our AT's up until the end of May! AND YES, we are Envious.

Was that duck creek road. Howd the tyres do on rocks n clay. Hopefully should get my red abs this friday.

Yes thats the road the tyres are predictable over wet rock, just not outstanding. Wet clay i think they would struggle. The traction control on setting#1 worked well for me, allowing some slip before retardation. I will upgrade tyres once these are worn out. Ive paid for these, may aswell use them.
