Big surprise; after the writer started out with an artistic critique of the CRF-AT, I expected he would ride directly to the nearest Starbucks and pose for the rest of the day. Not so, he gave it a good, fair test and reached a startling conclusion. At least so far as using the DCT off-highway is concerned. I learned a lot. Good job.

Great review and it could change a few minds who were on the wall about DCT.

So, in a shocking conclusion: The automatic gearbox is better that a manual gearbox when it comes to technical terrain. I didn’t expect this at all.

it does make some sense though, you can focus on your movements instead of worrying about slipping the clutch or what gear you need...
