Oil change, new oil filter, chain checking, connected AT with computer.

Paid €180 (of which €47,5 for the work). Was quite suprised as the first service of my previous bike was always for free.

In the good old days, most motorcycle first services used to be completely free. Then most manufacturers / dealers moved to a model whereby customers paid for parts, but they covered the labor costs. Nowadays a lot of first services are no longer free for parts or labor. A trend started by Triumph I believe, but quickly copied by most.

One good thing, at least, is that most bikes are now shipped with all the parts required for their first service (which remain at the dealers until the day), which could otherwise cause an unnecessary delay in obtaining the parts of a brand new bike.

The first service, going by the manual, is predominantly a simply oil and filter change. However, for those with DCT there are two filters, so it's well worthwhile checking with your dealer that both have been replaced.

€ 140 in The Netherlands. DCT 2 new oil filters, €14 each, o-ring €4, oil €65, 1/2 hour labor €33. With costs of small materials and disposal of oil, total €140.
Oil is the money maker; Motul 5100 4T 10W40.
Mechanic checked the online Honda instructions of filling up the engine with oil. Fill up so much volume of oil, start the engine and keep it running idle for 5 minutes, stop the engine and complete the filling up.
Tyre pressures were checked. I was in the workshop whilst the mechanic was at work. Asked me about any problems with bike; none. No further checks done.
