Got a Grey DTC a few weeks ago
Still wondering if I made the right choice
Half the time I like it half the time its not doing what I want it to do

Use manual mode if you want to control when the bike shifts. And the great thing is, it will do the monotonous downshifting chores for you when you are approaching stop signs, traffic lights, etc., if you just apply the brakes.

Around town and relaxed touring I'm finding S1 works well most of the time. I can always intervene manually if I feel the need but I usually don't have to.
