I've seen you ask this question in 3 separate threads. Honestly, I doubt anyone here knows, and if they did say something, it's probably something they 'heard' on the internet.

Your best option is to call a dealer or two and ask them. I'd bet they'd say IDK, or you get different answers between different dealers.

Is there a particular material you want? If so, I'd suggest buying any brand that says it's that material. Otherwise, the OEM pads work great, whatever it is they're made of, and they don't generally destroy your rotors.

Dead easy, remove the calliper and they move toward the centre and fall out in the direction of the wheel spindle if they were still fitted.

Calliper bolts are 45nm.
This reply was concerning front brakes. It's not right is it? Looks like on mine there are at least two bolts that may be going through some kind of hole in the brakes shoes. Does anyone know what model number of Nissin 4-pots are fitted to the CRF1000L?
