Anyone removed their front pads to change or clean them yet? I tried tonight and couldn't work out how the **** you got them out? Anyone?

Cheers!

Dead easy, remove the calliper and they move toward the centre and fall out in the direction of the wheel spindle if they were still fitted.

Calliper bolts are 45nm.

Got myself a 19 Standard AT.
Looked up the part number for the OEM brake pads

Front: 06455-MKK-D01
Rear: 06435-MEJ-026

Anyone has any idea what material are they? Sintered? Semi-sintered? Ceramic? Organic?

I've seen you ask this question in 3 separate threads. Honestly, I doubt anyone here knows, and if they did say something, it's probably something they 'heard' on the internet.

Your best option is to call a dealer or two and ask them. I'd bet they'd say IDK, or you get different answers between different dealers.

Is there a particular material you want? If so, I'd suggest buying any brand that says it's that material. Otherwise, the OEM pads work great, whatever it is they're made of, and they don't generally destroy your rotors.
