Just done first pillion ride with the boxes on... what a disaster.
The boxes are too far forward for the pillion to be comfortable. Backs of knees wedged into front of boxes, cant get feet on pegs behind my legs (not enough space).

What the **** do we do now. £700 quid lighter and theyre no bloody good.

time for a letter to Givi methinks. Spectacularly unimpressed.

I have purchased the Givi trekker outback top box , happy with it , BUT i am not getting the Givi panniers .

Sorry I should have posted about this before.. I sent the fecking the lot back utter crap! got a full refund.. and don't get me started about the fitting kit and plate for the top box!

What size are your panniers and pillion?

Mine did not complaint during 100 km ride.

the outback trekker panniers are the 40 and 30litre approx sizes - lisa is a 5'5' size 10 so she is small. ridicolous situation to be in.

I am going to have to contact the supplier and see where we go from there.

what did you find wrong with the kit? I like the boxes but the frame is wonky !

I have two 37 l panniers, she is 175 cm long and shoes about size 8, no problems!

I have the panniers. I crashed on a muddy trail and they didn't budge. in fact they held the bike up from having the engine slide in the mud. sweet! Mud.
